Polisol P
Polisol P
Product for disinfection of solid surfaces.
The active component is Alkil-dimetil-bensil-ammonium-chloride.
Physical and chemical properties:
A colourless liquid with a light, characteristic smell and an extremely strong bactericidal effect on bacteries, fungi, algae and certain types of viruses.
Since it belongs to the group of kation-active tensides, it shows high abilities of reducing surface tension, and thus is very good at wetting, washing and emulsifying.
Application:
„Polisol P“ is a complex disinfectant with strong bactericidal and fungicidal effects, so it is very widely used in healthcare, food industry, veterinary, trading, tourism and everyday life. It affects gram-positive and gram-negative bacteries and, being a cationic product, it must not be mixed with anionic tensides and detergents.
For simple disinfection, 1% and 3% concentrations are used, with exposure times of 15 and 5 minutes, respectively. Like other disinfectants, „Polisol P“ bonds with proteins and other organic compounds.
In order to reach the full effect of the product in the recommended concentrations, it is necessary to wash the treated surfaces well before using the product, and to rinse them after use.
Plastic, glass, porcelain, and stainless steel are completely resistant to all concentrations of „Polisol“. If it is needed to remove certain organic remains from the solid surfaces, use a 5% solution.
Space disinfection:
It is achieved by spraying undiluted „Polisol P“. Since it has a mild, pleasant smell, it also has a deodorising effect.
